I would never by any means have called myself a bo

I would never by any means have called myself a book worm 🪱 but I used to enjoy reading from time to time. Biographies and fiction would be my first choice. 📚📚
All that stopped when my Mum passed suddenly and it didn't come back. Any time I'd pick up a book by the time I'd gotten to end of the paragraph I would have forgotten what the beginning was about. Mind was else where and focusing was slack. It used to frustrate me. So I stopped.
I realised now I was being shown where I needed healing. Grief takes many forms and impacts our lives in so many different ways. It doesn't heal in an instant, in a year or two. It stays with us for as long as we need it to. It's important that this healing takes place at our own speed and for everyone of us it is different.
When you are ready, you know, and for me its time. It's time to heal this aspect of my life.
So I have challenged myself to read this box of books which my daughter was recycling. I have challenged myself to read them before Easter. Putting it here so I am accountable.😄👍
I want to remember what its like to lose myself in the pages of books, travel on adventures I would never have dreamed, live in someone else's life for brief moments and be carried on the wings of another's imagination. It is time and I feel ready.

It has begun.... 😄 the old has been cleared away, spring clean is on 🧽🧹🧼 the space is being cleared out both energetically and physically and I can feel the energy lifting with excitement.
It is going to be a fun week as the energy adjusts so remember "have a laugh" anything could go down this week you guys 🤣🤸‍♀️🧘‍♀️
Getting ready for the Chinese New Year and all the excitement, new energy, new opportunities, new experiences and new fun it will bring.

This speaks to my heart.... Fear has been the one

This speaks to my heart....
Fear has been the one solid constant emotion I have had in my life. From real fears to deep rooted unaccountable ones.
This has been my journey to try and face fear so that I may live the life I dream of.
* fear of loss
* fear of failing
* fear of succeeding
* fear of not being seen for who I truly am
* fear of not being accepted
* fear of not being loved
* fear of not being good enough
* fear of making mistakes
* fear of staying stuck
* fear of not experiencing life in its wholeness
* fear of using my gifts
* fear of not using my gifts
* fear of not being able to help others
* fear of not healing me
* fear of my suppressed emotions
* fear of releasing
* fear of my vulnerability
* fear of my devine femine
* fear of being weak
* fear of always being strong and in control
So much fear in one small body. I often wondered where it all stem'd from. It was born from not feeling safe and as I journeyed on this path, being in the moment, fully present has been where my healing led me to.
Being in the moment, connected to my heart, feeling love in all its forms, trusting my instincts, allowing myself to feel vulnerable, allowing control to fall away and to learn to trust the moment.
This has been the huge lesson I learnt and continue to learn on my journey in the light. Love is universal, to all brings. Love brings an inner peace, a calmness like no other, an expansion of the body which radiates out and reaches those we touch with it.
Love heals.
Love has thought me to spread my wings and fly and on this flight I gained freedom from my fears.
My musings for this evening... grateful to those who touched me with love in their hearts on this journey.

For those who are new to my page and new to my classes the type of yoga I teach is Hatha, Yin and Restorative. My own life journey has taught me how much I had disconnected from my feelings and being truly present in any given moment. It was a protective measure I had adapted with great enthusiasm. A self protective instinct in order to try and survive what was overwhelming me.
My story led me to yoga and the type of yoga I teach is spiritual because this is what impacted my life, broke down my walls of defences and armoury.
Classes are based on body awareness.
What are you feeling and where? We move, adjust as we open and expand into tight areas by drawing awareness to our breath.
We connect our minds, with focus on our bodies and breath in a bid to find wholeness. We develop a trust in ourselves, our bodies and our abilities.
This year is a year of letting go of old patterns and embracing the new.
We have an opportunity to open ourselves to new possibilities, pleasures, happiness and joy.
The shift has already begun for me. I am deepening into it and bringing you guys with me 🙃 as we explore deeper, with awareness through yoga and breath various aspects of our lives. Personally

💜 finding strength in my truth
💜 allowing myself to be vulnerable and open
